About Me
My name is Jayalasya Nagaraju
Hi, I'm Jayalasya (you can call me "Lasya"), an 11th-grade student at Lambert High School with a deep passion for health equity and a strong interest in medicine. My goal is to combine community service with health education and clinical experience, especially in pediatrics. I'm dedicated to empowering children in underserved communities in Atlanta by teaching them about hygiene, wellness, and nutrition. Beyond my community work, I'm also involved in medical research, having authored a paper on therapeutic strategies for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
I believe every child deserves a healthy start, and I'm excited to bridge that health gap through BridgeHealthGap.com!

Mission

My mission is to champion health equity for children in underserved communities in Atlanta.
I strive to raise awareness about critical health disparities and bring teens together to contribute their time, effort, and fundraising skills to this vital cause.
I'm also devoted to teaching children about hygiene, wellness, and nutrition, and promoting wellness among groups of underprivileged youth.
